Generated concept while working remotely in a week long sprint with graphic design and illustration students. Treehouse was designed to address needs for elementary education students and teachers during the pandemic. (May 2020)

MONDAY & TUESDAY: RESEARCH
I supported most of the research with phone calls & facetime with different students, parents, and teachers. Identifying the landscape of learning, tools, and problems was key to generating a solution.
WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY: IDEATION
The team ideated and created a list of desired features and experiences that could help all key stakeholders.
FRIDAY & SATURDAY: REFINE & PITCH
Solidifying some user flows to demonstrate the full product. Presentation was prepared to share with a team of students and alumni in industries that were impacted by COVID.
An easily integrated solution for students & teachers already using the Google Classroom Suite.
Students can access their treehouse extension through their Google Classroom portal.
Teachers can monitor through a dashboard that tracks interaction & assignments.
This extension will help connect multiple platforms teaches need to use to properly educate and engage with different students and cascade information into a single dashboard.
STUDENTS NEED PLAY
Students get a playful avatar as a pet to follow along through the entire Google Classroom Suite.
STUDENTS STAY SOCIAL
Despite changing classroom dynamics, students need social interactions and can find ways to connect in a controlled environment, supported by their Google Classroom Suite.
LEARNING GAMIFIED
To encourage student motivation, they are rewarded for completing assignments. No matter which site your homework is on, your Class Pet will track all the hard work you do.
TEACHER TOOL & RESOURCE
The teacher dashboard helps bridge the gap between student performance and required action items. This saves time and keeps all information in one place.
Using the Treehouse dashboard, teachers can save up to 90 minutes per week.
ASYNCHRONOUS FUTURE
Treehouse can be used asynchronously with students in our out the the classroom, anywhere devices are used to tracking or completing learning.
